Going into isolation/quarantine recently because of COVID-19 (stay safe, people!) feels a lot like the beginning of a sci-fi film as we all try to piece together somewhat of a semblance of normalcy in a time where we throw such a concept out the window. Recently, I was again invited by Perry Lam, director of the last short film I reviewed, Tony, to take a look at his new film, AFTER_LIFE, which is yet another interesting short film set right here in sunny Singapore.
And in a time where social distancing has become the norm, a film that dives into our emotions and feelings in such a trying time can be something we all need right now. So let’s dive right in.
