With a somewhat successful remake of Murder On The Orient Express, we finally get the second instalment to the new film adaptations of the Agatha Christie novels that focus on Hercule Poirot as the main character as we see the crime solved through his eyes.

Death On The Nile follows Poirot while he is off a case, taking a vacation and encountering the heiress, Linnet Ridgeway, getting together with Simon Doyle, the former lover of her close friend, Jacqueline “Jackie” de Bellefort. Friends and family accompany the couple on their honeymoon but Linnet hires Poirot as she fears that danger is close… can Poirot protect her before the heiress’ worst fears come true?

2021 – Year in Review Part 3 – Anime: An Opinion Piece

2021 was a strange year – the sequel to the year that will go down in history as maybe one of the worst in modern human history. However, the pandemic lockdown also forced us all to rethink our lives and even live with a new outlook. But here’s hoping that 2022 will be trending upwards and lifting us out of the doom and gloom that 2020 brought us all.

And that also goes tenfold for anime in 2021. It was maybe one of the best years for anime to date, seeing so many new classics being born while also seeing many fan favorites receive their milestones (Congrats again for episode 1000, One Piece! Also, I guess there was a Demon Slayer movie I talked about as well). But let’s now get into the finale of this look back at 2021!
